At Marina d’Oru, we are committed to preserving nature, which is an integral part of our identity.
Nestled in the heart of an 11-hectare wooded park, our technical team works hard every day to maintain this green haven.
Starting from scratch, we carefully selected each tree and plant to promote the development of a harmonious ecosystem that respects biodiversity.
Since 2018, we have taken numerous actions to strengthen our eco-responsible approach:
– Green energy production:
A 250-space car park has been covered with photovoltaic panels, allowing us to produce our own electricity while providing shaded parking spaces for our customers.
Sustainable lighting:
Our outdoor lighting has been replaced with solar-powered street lamps,, which are more economical and environmentally friendly.
Soft mobility:
Thanks to the variety of services we offer — restaurant, bar, mini-market, beauty area, sports activities, direct access to the pool and the sea — you can enjoy your vacation without using your car.
Electric charging stations:
For added convenience, charging stations are available 24 hours a day. Self-service and accessible via QR code, they allow you to plan your excursions on the island with complete peace of mind.
For several years now, we have had a recycling system in place, easily accessible at the entrance to the holiday village.
We also ensure that we use environmentally friendly products for maintenance and technical work.
In 2024, we replaced plastic bags with fabric bags for collecting household linen.
Finally, we support the local economy by collaborating with regional producers and artisans, promoting short and sustainable supply chains.
